Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has reported that we are looking to update three new privacy- basic changes in the upcoming update of Whatsapp. We are starting to look into the signs of some of those features Mark said —now the view-once message screenshot will be blocked. So, soon, you will not be able to take a screenshot of the messages that the sender wants you to see only once.

The reason behind blocking View-Once Message Screenshot

So, if you think logically, If you can take a screenshot of the view once message then what's the point of making this feature? So, WhatsApp is working on this for a while, and it seems like they have made some progress. In accordance with WABetaInfo, Soon Whatsapp will have the ability to block users from taking screenshots of messages that are marked as view-once.

Whatsapp provided a view-once feature long ago, but they couldn’t protect the privacy of the sender. Unless or until the sender doesn’t know how to take the screenshot. So to tackle this issue Whatsapp will soon come up with an update where users who take a screenshot of the view-once message will get blocked.

More Features on which WhatsApp is working on

Recently, WhatsApp has introduced a feature where users will be able to leave the group chat silently without noticing any other participants. This feature will surely help those users who feel uncomfortable and try to stay away from the prying eyes. But, Group admins will get the notification of who has left the group.

Besides the other three new privacy features, WhatsApp has also focused on educating users about their new updates and their benefits to customers' data protection and private conversations.
